GEM Inc., a member of the Rudolph Libbe Group, was awarded Specialty Contractor of 2016 by Engineering News-Record Midwest. Bohl Crane provided two 10 ton, 147 ft. span bridge cranes with custom twin hook Electrolift wire rope hoists. It runs along a singe runway system that is 454 ft. long. The cranes are located at the VAM Threading Facility in Youngstown, Ohio. 

When Winoa Abrasives needed to increase the capacity of their crane they ran into a familiar obstacle: their building could not accommodate it. Faced with a two month shutdown and the cost of refurbishing the building, Winoa turned to Bohl Crane for a custom solution.

With little space to work with, Bohl Crane partnered with design firm Kodiak Group to develop a unique tubular girder design.

To help improve customer service and order lead time Columbus McKinnon has opened their doors to a new facility located in Houston, Texas. The new larger facility will allow for an increase of inventory. The increase in stock in Houston will decrease transportation lead times for customers in the Central U.S. Located near I-45 and Sam Houston Parkway with more loading docks, Columbus McKinnon will be able to improve load-time of trucks and turn-around times.
